General comments: This venue is perfect for a disabled angler with all pegs and shower block accessible if you're in a wheelchair. You'll be bombing up and down the bank with
ease. Also for the non angler its perfect, got everything you need.
If you've been looking for a run water with the chance of a monster carp, welcome to Beaute. This is a dream lake, superbly run by Alex and Carolyn, all
the pegs are very easy to get to and the banks are nice and flat, the caravan is spotless with the bonus of Sky TV.
What more could an angler want? "A Power Shower" I hear you say, well there's also a couple of those in a separate shower block. The fishing is magical with
Commons and Mirrors up to 50lb, plus some juicy sturgeon, some luncheon meat will bring the ever hungry 'Surge' to your hook and there's also the chance of
a bit Cat.
Once you've visited this lake its a certainty you'll return. This really is the fun package, a beautiful lake, great hosts, a comfy caravan and last but not least,
some cracking FISH !! So dont just look at it........Book it !!!!!

General comments: Very, very happy with the lake, I catch lots of fish.

Brief details of your catches: All pegs caught decent amount of fish. Between us we caught over 1000 lb of fish. All beat our Personal Best, the biggest being a 38lb 7oz Mirror.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Just listen to Alex, row your baits out, single hook baits with a few offerings. Nash B2, savoury fish, garlic and cheese.

General comments: On our way to another Lake further south, we were told that it was frozen. We came to Lac de Beaute, and were so glad we did. The venue is a carp anglers dream, set in a quiet valley, very secure and Alex and Carolyn are very helpful. The fishing is excellent, anybody would not be disappointed.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Running Lead. 6 inch Hook Link on a size 6 Nash Uni Hook, tipped with a piece of plastic corn and one single bottom bait. Nash B2 and the new Nash Mach 1 did the job.

General comments: Not a bad day aye !!! On the day, we had very strong north-east winds and it was very, very cold. But with dogged determination, Willy persevered, carried on and bagged his PERSONAL BEST 42lb Mirror. Mad French lad !!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: I followed Alex's advice on the place to fish, changed my rigs from fixed rigs to running leads. Downsized my hook from a 4 to a Nash Uni size 6 and quicksilver hook link and a B2 with a piece of plastic corn underneath.
